Sensors

FTS manufactures a range of high quality digital and analog sensors for use in systems of any complexity. If an application requires a sensor we don't manufacture, we will integrate a sensor from one of a vendor which has been thoroughly tested and is supported by our team of application engineers and service technicians.

Regardless of whose sensor is integrated into our systems, our customers are provided the benefit of a single source for service and support, and a system that has been designed for ruggedness in the harshest remote environments and simplicity of operation and maintenance as guiding principles.

The DTS-12 Turbidity Sensor is the star of our sensor lineup which all our water quality systems are designed around. Our stream gauging, hydromet and SedEvent sediment monitoring systems utilize a submersible pressure transducer. We also manufacture a variety of meteorological sensors for hydromet applications.

All FTS sensors terminate in the positive-locking, waterproof, color-coded, cadmium-plated, corrosion resistant, military-style bayonet connectors which our customers love, but can optionally be ordered with other connectors.
