StreamTrac is the final piece of the simple turbidity threshold sampling puzzle.

StreamTrac

StreamTrac is our hydrology monitoring data management and analysis software. It's a multi-user enterprise software platform that provides a fully integrated, end-to-end tool for data collection, management, editing, processing and analysis. it integrates everything from field notes, meta data, attachments, grab samples, analysis notes, graphs and rating curves, securely archiving both raw (uneditable) and edited data in a open architecture, non-proprietary Microsoft database.

StreamTrac empowers data managers.

Sediment rating curve and sediment load totals for a selected data range encompassing several storm events.

Simple analysis

  • Allows review of data in graphical and tabular views independently or simultaneously (synchronously).
  • Simplifies and automates working with a large number of data files in a variety of formats from different sources.
  • Provides powerful efficiency tools for the time-consuming task of data flagging and correction.

Heavy-duty automation

  • Automates the collection of remote data from one or multiple sites. If you don’t use telemetry, simply download data directly from the Axiom datalogger to a USB memory stick, then upload directly into StreamTrac.
  • Automatically calculates sediment load totals by event or by period.
  • Alarms via email triggered when specified data conditions are met.
  • Pump sample bottle mapping, dynamically linked to graph and rating analysis tools.
  • Automated stage to discharge calculations from tables or equations.
  • Automatically identifies peaks and troughs.

The reports you need

  • Includes standard USGS Water Resources Data reports including daily mean discharge, daily mean gage height summary, daily tide values.
  • Automatically builds a summary table of all datum/gage height corrections
  • Automatically creates rating curves, expanded rating tables and skeletal point tables with supporting equations.

Powerful data correction

  • Instant removal of outliers and non-physical values.
  • Drag-and-drop sensor drift corrections.
  • Offset and miscalibration detection and correction.
  • Automatic interpolation of data gaps via spline interpolation or regression analysis.
  • Move data on y-axis (vertically) proportiionally by dragging any data point.
  • Data editing via graphical or mathematical tools.
  • Large data gap reconstruction with surrogates.
  • Segment cut-and-paste.
  • Restore or compare with raw data.
  • Includes predefined functions for applying datum corrections and shift corrections as defined by the USGS WSP 2175.

Flexible graphing and charting

  • Powerful graphing tools can plot an unlimited number of datapoints, and combine multiple time series’ on the same graph. This makes it easy to compare different data sets, spot trends, make correlations.
  • Analysis is available in seconds simply by picking time frame graphically.
  • Plot unlimited number of data points from decades of data.
  • Plot time series data for multiple parameters and/or multiple stations over any reporting period on the same graph.
  • Intuitive zoom, scaling and ranging.
  • Embed linked data, editing and analysis notes, site visit reports.

Secure accountability

  • Secure audit trail records all data that has been edited, automatically flags with user's name, date and time.
  • Ensures safe archival of unedited original data for legal and documentation purposes by storing all data in raw time series format that cannot be edited or erased.
